UNESA Women FC Impresses and Wins the PASS Soccer Tournament 2024

unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—UNESA Women FC successfully won the title in the Inter-School Friendship Soccer Tournament (PASS) 2024 organized by Surabaya Intercultural School (SIS) from October 31 to November 2, 2024.
This women's soccer team showed outstanding performance from the first day to the final match. The Director of Labschool UNESA, Sujarwanto, also supported the victory achieved by UNESA Women FC.
In the match, UNESA Women FC faced SMAK St. Louis 2 and secured a convincing victory with a score of 5-0.
On the second day, UNESA Women FC further demonstrated their dominance. They defeated SMK St. Louis with a score of 6-0 and beat the host, SIS, with a score of 3-0.
In the final match, UNESA Women FC faced SIS again and recorded an extraordinary score of 10-0.

Sujarwanto stated that the formation of UNESA Women FC aims to demonstrate UNESA's commitment as a leading campus in the field of sports.
This also provides facilities for UNESA's talented female students to channel their hobbies and talents in soccer.
"The hope is that they can unleash their full potential, so that new talents can emerge who can become professional players, and hopefully even reach the national level," he said.
Furthermore, the professor of extraordinary education management added that the formation of this team is also a contribution to the PSSI program in developing women's soccer in Indonesia.
With the existence of a team like UNESA Women FC, more people can be motivated to live healthily and make soccer their sport of choice.
"We want to help PSSI find outstanding talents in soccer. Hopefully, with this platform, new talents can develop and maybe one day become national, even international players," he added.
Moreover, competitions like this can continue to motivate players to be more disciplined and enthusiastic in training.[*]
