UNESA Showcases Innovation and Excellence at the Harmoni Nusantara Event at UKSW Salatiga

SURABAYA—Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), through the Directorate of Innovation, Ranking, and Scientific Publications (IPPI), participated in the Harmoni Nusantara Event at Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) Salatiga from June 25-27, 2024. The event featured an innovation exhibition attended by several universities across Indonesia.
UNESA played an active role as one of the co-hosts of the event, alongside Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Maranatha University, Parahyangan University, PGRI Semarang University, Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University, Bandung Business Polytechnic University, and others.
The Rector of UKSW Salatiga, Prof. Dr. Intiyas Utami, S.E., M.Si., expressed gratitude and appreciation to UNESA as a co-host of the event.
As the first female rector of UKSW, she conveyed in her welcome speech that universities should continuously collaborate and support each other to jointly advance education in Indonesia.
During the exhibition, UNESA's representative, Prof. Dr. Endang Susantini, serving as the Head of the Sub-directorate of Learning Innovation Development and Centers of Excellence, had the opportunity to engage in discussions with leaders and representatives of other universities at the event.

The university representatives committed to collaborating in advancing education in Indonesia and supporting similar activities.
At the innovation exhibition, UNESA showcased its ranking achievements and innovative products resulting from research and product development by the IPPI Directorate.
The products and innovations included the Eduasess learning application, the Rhimola learning robot, and the Push-Up Counter. In addition, UNESA also exhibited products from the Center of Excellence in Science and Technology (PUI) Sport and Exercise Research Center (SERC), namely sport performance wear and TAG US running shoes.
Meanwhile, the PUI Disability Innovation Center (DIC) showcased signalong dictionaries and virtual reality for people with disabilities. Equally, the PUI Arts presented arts learning media and art books.
There are many benefits from UNESA's participation in the Harmoni Nusantara event at UKSW. Besides establishing communication and cooperation with other universities, it also introduces research products and PUI products of UNESA to a wider audience.
