New Spirit, Directorate of Dormitory Socialization of Rules and Regulations
Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA - Surabaya State University (UNESA) Dormitory Directorate held a board meeting and socialization of dormitory residents' rules and regulations online which was attended by dozens of students on Friday (31/3/2023).
Dormitory Director, Colectus Oky Ristanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that through the dormitory, the spirit is to provide a comfortable on-campus residence to support student lectures. Close access to various buildings and facilities can cut time and energy so that it can be more efficient.
“In order for the management of this dormitory to be in accordance with its initial spirit, through the new management in the Dormitory Directorate we are gradually making improvements to the facilities. We have accommodated various suggestions from fellow residents,” he said.
The Section Head of Dormitory Development, Marketing and Monitoring, Prima Vidya Asteria, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that the socialization of rules or regulations is a basis or joint guideline to create a comfortable and conducive dormitory for students.
She continued, during this fasting month, access to the dormitory door began to open at 02.00 WIB so that students could go out to buy suhoor needs. This access system may change after the fasting month according to conditions and needs.
He added that the dormitory is not only a place for students to live, but his party also plans programs that lead to strengthening the character and development of students. “In the future, we imagine that students can actively develop themselves through the dormitory program, which is certainly optional. The point is we hope,” he said.
Dormitory Operations and Assets Section Head, Testa Adi Nugraha, S.Pd., M.Pd., said that the monthly payment system has been transferred through a virtual account in full, aka no longer in a personal account or in cash. “If it is through personal transfer, it cannot be recapitulated. The selection of this one-door payment method will facilitate the audit of all dormitory finances,” he explained.
With this socialization, it is hoped that all dormitory residents can carry out the rules or rules that apply in the dormitory. Complying with the rules together is a good start in realizing a comfortable and pleasant living and learning atmosphere. []
